Tour Óbidos e Nazaré

Medieval walls and legendary waves in a day to remember.

Óbidos is a charming medieval village in Portugal, surrounded by well-preserved walls that offer panoramic views. Its cobbled streets are lined with whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flowers, artisan shops, and small bars where it’s traditional to try the famous ginjinha served in a chocolate cup. The main highlight is the Óbidos Castle, now converted into a historic hotel, and the Rua Direita, the main street through the historic center. It’s a romantic and cultural destination, also known for hosting events like the International Chocolate Festival and the Medieval Market.

Nazaré is a traditional coastal town, world-famous for the giant waves that attract elite surfers to the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo. The town is divided between the lower part, near the beach and fishing port, and O Sítio, perched on a cliff and accessible by funicular, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Nazaré preserves its strong maritime culture, with fishermen and women still wearing traditional clothing. In addition to its beaches, it also features the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, an important site of religious pilgrimage.
